Serie A clubs are reportedly monitoring several Chelsea players after the Blues announced a loss of €138m for the year ending June 2022.

Chelsea released their annual financial statement on Monday, confirming a loss of £121.3, circa €138m.

Although the Premier League side confirmed that the club ‘continue to comply with UEFA and Premier League financial regulations, ‘ Calciomercato.com claims the Blues’ financial situation will force them to sell some of their players in the summer, with several Serie A clubs interested.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a long-time Milan target and according to the report, the England international could leave for €25m in July. Callum Hudson-Odoi will return from his loan at Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season and is also being monitored by the defending Serie A champions.

The Rossoneri’s city rivals Inter have set their sights on Trevoh Calobah, one of the candidates to replace the outgoing Milan Skriniar.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been linked with both Milanese sides and could terminate his contract with the Blues after just one season at Stamford Bridge.

Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic have emerged as possible targets for Milan and Roma. The Giallorossi were in talks with the Morocco star in January before Nicolò Zaniolo’s transfer to Galatasaray.

Edouard Mendy is an option for Juventus and could be included in a swap deal for Dusan Vlahovic even if the Bianconeri are unwilling to sell their striker in exchange for another player.

Last but not least, Romelu Lukaku will return to the Bridge from Inter at the end of the season, but Beppe Marotta has confirmed that the Nerazzurri may sit down with Chelsea again, trying to extend the striker’s loan for one more season.
