Juventus have been champions of Italy 36 times, the most of any club by some distance. The Bianconeri first won the title back in 1905, and secured the Scudetto nine seasons in a row between 2012 and 2020. Inter wrestled the title away from the Old Lady last season, their 19th triumph in total. That moved the Nerazzurri one ahead of local rivals Milan, who last won the Scudetto in 2011. No other team is in double figures when it comes to title triumphs. Genoa won the league nine times between 1898 and 1924, while Torino, Bologna and Pro Vercelli all have seven championships to their name. Lazio, Napoli and Fiorentina have won the title twice, while Roma have been champions three times in their history. Can Jose Mourinho add to that this season? Only time will tell.
