Rui Costa, Batistuta and more: Fiorentina’s ten biggest sales, Vlahovic the next one?

Dusan Vlahovic could become the most expensive player ever sold by Fiorentina, overcoming Federico Chiesa, Manuel Rui Costa and Gabriel Omar Batistuta.

To date, Rui Costa is the highest sold player by La Viola. The former Portugal international joined Milan for €41m in 2001. However, Federico Chiesa will overcome Rui Costa as soon as Juventus make his move permanent for €40m this season.

The Bianconeri have already paid €10m for Chiesa’s loan and could pay up to €10m in add-ons, so the winger’s overall price would be €60m.

Vlahovic to Juventus: what we know so far

That’s precisely how much Juventus want to offer for Vlahovic, but La Viola’s asking price is €70-75m.

At the moment, Federico Bernardeschi is the second most expensive player ever sold by Fiorentina. The Italy international also joined Juventus in a €40m deal in 2017.

Gabriel Omar Batistuta’s €36m move to Roma is the third most expensive sale in the history of Fiorentina, but the Argentinean legend would slip to fifth if Vlahovic joins Juventus and when the Old Lady makes Chiesa’s move permanent.
