Milan are among the clubs interested in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has reportedly snubbed an offer from Al-Nassr.

Aubameyang is expected to leave Arsenal in the last week of the January transfer window but is willing to continue his career in Europe, reports Sky Sports UK.

Milan have terminated the loan of Pietro Pellegri, signing Red Star starlet Marko Lazetic. However, both Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been struggling with injuries, so the Rossoneri are considering their options.

Rise & fall of disgraced Arsenal captain Aubameyang, from Milan to London

The Diavoli are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Aubameyang in January, but the striker’s salary is a difficult obstacle to overcome.

The 32-year-old is on a €15m-a-year deal at the Emirates Stadium, while Milan’s highest earner is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with a salary of €7.5m.

Aubameyang’s Arsenal’s contract expires June 2023 and other big European clubs, such as Juventus, Sevilla, Marseille and PSG, are reportedly interested in securing his services.

Aubameyang played in Milan’s youth sector in 2007 and wanted to return to San Siro ten years later, but the Serie A giants did not make an offer to sign him from Borussia Dortmund, so Aubameyang signed for Arsenal.

  1. By signing Lazetic, milan no longer have slots for non-eu players. Impossible deal logistically for milan this window & thank god for that!

  2. Media speculation. We just signed Lazetic unlike Pellegri (never fit) he will be given minutes. If only we could get a RW to close the market would be great. CB and some other tinkering in Summer window.

  3. His agent is obviously desperate and putting out the feelers. Ex Milanista and all that but he seems washed up and even affected badly by Covid.

Imagine the cost of paying Auba’s salary for just for 1 year we can buy another Magic Eagle! Incomparable.

Best to remove these links right now unless he is coming for free and being paid a 1/3 of his salary.
