Multiple reports in Italy claim Roma star Paulo Dybala could undergo a decisive MRI scan to assess his recovery time tomorrow and not today.

The Argentinean striker suffered a quadriceps injury while taking a penalty kick against Lecce on Sunday night.

José Mourinho looked concerned, admitting that La Joya would not play again for the Giallorossi in 2022.

There are fears that Dybala will miss the World Cup with Argentina, but the exact recovery time for the ex-Juventus striker is still unclear.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport and Il Corriere Dello Sport report that Roma could postpone Dybala’s Magnetic resonance imaging to Wednesday to have a clearer picture of his physical condition.

The Argentinean underwent initial tests on Monday afternoon, but according to Gazzetta, doctors could not assess the exact nature of the injury and the recovery time as there is still fluid in his injured right thigh.

Therefore, they could postpone the decisive exam to Wednesday to better understand the situation and how long Dybala will remain out of action.
