Romelu Lukaku was introduced to the Roma fans at the Stadio Olimpico ahead of their Serie A showdown with Milan. ‘This is your Colosseum and these are your people.’
The stadium was packed out to welcome the new striker, who arrived yesterday on loan from Chelsea.
He is on the bench for this evening’s match and could make his debut in the second half.
Lukaku was saluted by the supporters and the stadium announcer declared: ‘This is your Colosseum and these are your people.’
The centre-forward had two previous Serie A experiences for Inter and had been linked with a move to Juventus before the loan switch to Roma.
