Italian media blame Gigio Donnarumma for his poor attitude in a post-match interview with Rai Sport and Twitter users troll the goalkeeper for his attitude and performance against Germany.

The 22-year-old was fuming after Italy’s 5-2 loss against Germany last night and things got even worse during his post-match interview when he was quizzed over his many mistakes with the ball at his feet.

Gigio refused to take responsibility, claiming that his previous error against Real Madrid in March had been due to a foul of Karim Benzema. Italian papers and media outlets hit out at the former Milan goalkeeper, calling him ‘arrogant’ and questioning his ability to understand mistakes and work on them to improve.

‘Questions must be asked’ – Donnarumma’s argument with journalist sparks debate

Tiziana Alla, the journalist that interviewed him after the match, was praised by most of his colleagues for asking the right question and dealing with Gigio’s irritability following the final whistle.

Italy fans are also not impressed by Donnarumma’s attitude and have criticised him on social media after the match. This time, criticism doesn’t only come from Milan fans but also other clubs’ supporters.

Donnarumma has had a tough season at PSG but was still named Best Goalkeeper in the Ligue 1 for 2021-22. Last week, he argued with a Milan fan who had insulted him outside the after a Nations League clash against England.

  1. Why do you have to be kind when you can bully other person online lol, just remember, he still making much money than mostly all of the bullies can combine in a single week. Jealousy wont give you hapiness

  2. Is not about jellos he is disaster he is disappointed.
At Milan they cover him so much
There no one can cover him
Come at Milan. You will be 3 choice no worries

  3. Yet the fact remains despite all the money he’s making he won’t be happy in his life, he would still have that sinking feeling inside of him and that my boy money can’t buy.

  4. He’s Young. People forget he’s only 22. He will learn to get better and improve all round. Get off his back and the journalist was asking obvious, disrespectful questions!

  5. “Gianluigi Donnarumma has conceded 80 goals in 45 Appearance for Club and Country this Season!”

    This says it all.

  6. Donnarumma didn’t abandon Milan, he didn’t have agreement with PSG before Milan told him he can leave as they have signed Maignan.

It was Milan who force him to leave, now we know the reason why.
