The CIES Football Observatory have released their top 100 most valuable players list, which contains 14 Serie A stars.
The list is topped by world famous names like Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe (€205.6M), Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior (€185.3m) and Manchester City’s marquee signing Erling Haaland (€152.6m).

Topping the list of Serie A players is Inter’s Lautaro Martinez, who comes in 11th overall with an estimated market value of €106.7m. Behind him is teammate Nicolo Barella, who is reportedly worth €94.9m, and joining them on the podium is new Juventus man Dusan Vlahovic, who is worth €87.6m.
Other names on the list are hardly surprising, like Roma hitman Tammy Abraham (€71.4m), Milan duo Theo Hernandez (€71.3m) and Rafael Leao (€66.9m), Juventus pair Manuel Locatelli (€66m) and Matthijs de Ligt (€63.2m). Rounding out the top 10 most valuable Serie A players is Tottenham linked Alessandro Bastoni, who has an estimated value of €60.8m.

AGE? Contract situation? It’s not a list over serie A’s best players.
It’s a valuation of the most valuable players.
For an example cristiano Ronaldo was one of the best players last year but wouldn’t come near being on this list.

Locatelli is a joke. He is worth only 15m for me
CHIESA fit is a clear number 1, higher than everyone on this list.
Best player in serie a by a mile.
Outshone Ronaldo in final season, big game player scores pivotal goals for club and country.
He’s the only player on that list that could have swayed the champions league final either way. Not to say others can’t get into Liverpool and Madrid’s line ups just that none could have influenced the game like chiesa.
Would have him in prem any day.
English fan is typical english fan. He is far from being most talented player in Serie A. Not even talented italian.
These “experts” need to find something else to be expert at.
Barella and Lautaro worth more than Chiesa, Leao, Vlahovic.

Looks like you didn’t watch him play. Locatelli is very good. Surprised that Chiesa is that low. Osimhen is not that good, I find his max is 60M. Another surprise is Bastoni. I don’t find him more valuable than SMS, Chiesa, Pellegrini or Tonali.
Also wondering why Chiesa is that low.
How can De Ligt be that high when Chiellini, on his last legs, relelgated him as his substitute.
Milikovic-Savic is a beast. Too low.
Locatelli too high.
Gio-Ronaldo was the best player or one of the best is if we look at penalties
