Socios will also become an official partner of the Serie A league, and this partnership will come into effect for the first time tomorrow, when Socios CEO Allexandre Dreyfus will present the Most Valuable Player award at the end of the Supercoppa Italiana final between Inter and Juventus.

The fan token platform already have a significant presence in the world of Italian football, being partnered with Inter, Juventus, Milan, Napoli, Roma and the Italian national team, and now they’ll be partners with Lega Serie A as well.

Lega Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo presented the partnership, saying: “We are extremely pleased to announce this partnership with Socios.com, a leading brand in its field that has been working with the excellence of the sports world for several years now.

“With this agreement Lega Serie A proves once again to be ready to seize the opportunities offered by new markets, projected towards the future and innovation and careful to respond to the needs of fans around the world.”

Socios.com CEO Dreyfus also discussed the deal, saying: “In 2021 we have grown our network by more than 500% and welcomed over a million new users to our platform. We have bigger goals for the next 12 months, so we are delighted to start 2022 with this exciting announcement that further solidifies our commitment to the Italian sports industry.”

The partnership is another sign of Lega Serie A trying to grow the league’s commercial potential as they look to close the gap with La Liga and the Premier League.
