A banner inviting Nicolo Zaniolo to leave Roma has appeared at the club’s training ground in Trigoria.
The 23-year-old Italian forward asked for a move away from the club earlier this month and hoped a deal would be agreed with Milan, but the Giallorossi’s desire for definitive terms put a stop to talks.
Bournemouth launched a serious move for Zaniolo but the player refused their offer, infuriating Roma and their fans.
The supporters expressed their anger with a banner outside the Colosseum on Saturday night, and now a new banner has appeared at the club’s training ground in Trigoria, saying: “Away from Trigoria men of little worth, cowards and profiteers… Unconditional support only for those who respect our colours! Roma.”
