Juventus are preparing an offer for Roma star Nicolò Zaniolo who missed Roma’s first summer friendly on Saturday.

The Italy starlet is Juventus’ next big target following the signings of Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria.

He missed Roma’s first pre-season friendly yesterday and although the club explained that Zaniolo is dealing with physical issues, today’s edition of Gazzetta quotes the player’s entourage saying that ‘reasons related to the market’ are also behind José Mourinho’s choice.

Zaniolo is likely to leave Roma in the summer and according to Gazzetta, he has reached an agreement in principle with Juventus.

The Giallorossi are open to loaning the player provided that the deal comes with an obligation to buy and Juventus are happy to get the player with this formula.

However, the offer from Turin hasn’t arrived yet, because the Old Lady first needs to sell Matthijs de Ligt, who has offers from Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Once the Serie A giants finalise the defender’s sale, they will make an offer to sign Zaniolo on loan with an obligation to buy for a fee in the region of €50m.

  1. Give them arthur or rabiot or ramsey, not sure how arthur cant perform here but other 2 is total rubbish, not keep them anymore please

  2. Where’s all the haters now??? No wifi??? Juve is the real deal!!! Elite players!!! For free!! Bringing some experience and now zaniolo. Maa please you clowns can never go toe to toe with the old lady!! Bunch of bums

  3. Valencia will only sell Guedes for cash or a good amount of cash up front 20+ mill and for Roma to get Guedes they need to sell Zaniolo for cash no swap deals etc. Roma did well last time around with Spinazzola deal we got him basically for 10 million.

  4. I guess Roma is aking for $60M cash for Zaniolo is to much for such an over rated player. He is good but not for that price. Juve’s highest bid should be $40M or look for another player.

  5. lol Juve a top team. In Italy I will be the first to say absolutely the biggest in the peninsula as 38 Scudetti’s do not lie. However talking on the grander scale, they are an absolute joke. The last time they won the CL was literally in the fossil era just like PhD Max. CALMAAA!!! Zaniolo has not arrived and the 7/9 CL runners up winners have more pressing issues. The Dutch Phil Jones is soon to depart and that leaves them with 2 defenders. One that coat tailed off his bigger brother and cannot lead a line (Milan showed it) and poor Rugani. Not a bad defender, but not elite and he has not had enough game time. Even if Nicolo arrives, PhD Max will indoctrinate him in the tika taka form of ball must go into reverse at all times.
