Inter and Paulo Dybala had their first official meeting today and have not yet agreed personal terms, but talks will continue in a positive atmosphere, confirming this is his favoured destination.

The Nerazzurri have long been interested in the Argentina international, who is a free agent after leaving Juventus this summer.

They came out in the open this afternoon with agent Jorge Antun and several intermediaries entering the Inter headquarters in Milan.

Transfer news live: rumours and done deals with Lukaku edging closer to Inter

According to Sky Sport Italia, the first formal offer is a four-year contract worth €6m per season plus bonuses.

The request from Dybala and his agents is €8m plus bonuses, but both parties are prepared to take another step towards each other and reach an agreement.

This confirms Inter are the favourites for Dybala, well ahead of alternatives like Roma, Arsenal, Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur.

Further meetings are expected over the next few days, but the process of bringing Dybala to Inter as a free agent is already in full swing.

Also present at the meeting were director Beppe Marotta and Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti.

The contract Juventus had originally agreed with Dybala before suddenly withdrawing it was worth over €10m per season.

16 thought on “Inter and Dybala agents work on contract details”
  1. Forget about salary demands, I expect a signing-on fee or no less than 15m for Inter. That is in fashion for free agents right now and Dybala will ask for it.

  2. I thought Juve eventually offered him $ 8 million a year and he declined? Now he’s trying to negotiate a little higher than $6 million a year by Inter? That just tells you he’s pissed off with Juve and wanted to retaliate more than anything else.

  3. Lol, I always couldn’t stand Dybala. Chronic underachieving diver and whiner. Belongs at Inter anyways with his lack of character. Great skills and talent but small character.

  4. @AI incorrect, as the last meeting between Juventus and Dybala ended when Juve didn’t even offer Dybala a contract after withdrawing the 10 million a season one. So basically Juve said we will not offer you any contract of any kind and you are free to find another club. Very harsh treatment by the board but they weren’t gonna be taken for mugs again. Hats off to em.

  5. @ JUVEFAN1987 thanks for explaining, I thought he was just offered a lower salary contact. Then it’s a fair game for everyone.

  6. @Cypher right, like that time with Zlatan and Vieira 🙂

remind me how did the free transfer of Lucio went for you guys?

  7. It just reinforces the weak character of the guy – something most Juve supporters always knew. We’ll see how many games he ends up playing for the pretenders given his terrible injury record and poor record in big games. Fortunately Juve will soon have Chiesa back – a genuine big game match winner.

  8. Cypher

juve have signed multiple players who previously were at Inter so do not post ignorant nonsense just because you are bitter, boy.

  9. Crying in his last game and being cheered by the Juve fans…then slaps them all in the face. Clown.

  10. Fatecisognare

Jube rescinded is the contract and told Dybala to look for a new club

Imagine having to leave the country just to make ignorant and ungrateful fans like you happy, you entitled sept righteous clown

  11. CALMAAAAAAAA!!!

Even Don Moggi has come out vocally and ripped Juventus for allowing their most talented player to join Inter. Juventus are not the force they once were. With Lukaku heading back to Inter, tail tucked between both legs, maybe keeping Lautaro and adding Dybala, Milan will have to raise their game even more. Unfortunately PhD Obi Wan Max, Jedi of the back, back, down, down, will be leading his troops into another 4th place tripleta. With Di Maria holding out for a move to bankrupt Barca, it speaks volumes how poor the Juve transfer strategy is. Pathetic they cannot even scoop up a 34 years young player for free.
