The agent of Genoa wing-back Andrea Cambiaso confirms ‘there’s no point denying it, Inter really like’ the player, also a target for Juventus, Napoli, Salernitana and Sevilla.
It has been an extremely busy day at the Nerazzurri headquarters in Milan, with representatives for Paulo Dybala, Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni all coming and going.
Also in for a meeting was Giovanni Bia, who was there to discuss 22-year-old Genoa left-back Cambiaso.
“There’s no point denying it, Inter really like the player, just as many clubs like him,” Bia told reporters.
“We talked about him and some Argentinean players. The sensations are positive, but that’s a long way from saying it’s a done deal.”
Could Inter sign Italy Under-21 international Cambiaso and then send him out on loan to gain experience elsewhere?
“We’ll see first if they sign him, then we’ll see what Simone Inzaghi decides after that, whether they leave him at Inter or not.”
Cambiaso scored one goal and provided four assists for Genoa in 26 Serie A games this season, but could not prevent their relegation to Serie B.
He has also been linked with the likes of Juventus, Napoli, Salernitana and Sevilla.
