The FIGC Sporting Judge fined Roma and Lecce due to the behaviour of their fans, while Monza midfielder Nicolò Rovella received a two-match ban.

Both Roma and Lecce were fined €5,000 after their matches against Sampdoria and Fiorentina.

Roma played away at Marassi and were fined after their fans made ‘vulgar chants against another club,’ explained Sporting Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea.

Lecce fans, on the other hand, lit up so many flares that the smoke forced the referee to delay the kick-off of their home match against Fiorentina last night by five minutes.

Monza midfielder Rovella has received a two-match ban after seeing red in an away defeat to Empoli on Saturday. The U21 Italy international hit Jacopo Fazzini and was sent off for a reaction foul.

He will miss the Lombard derby against Milan at San Siro on Saturday.

Gianmarco Ferrari (Sassuolo), Antonino Gallo (Lecce) and Rodrigo Becao (Udinese) received a one-match ban after receiving red cards in Serie A Round 10.
