Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is reportedly examining potential moves for both Lazio forward Felipe Anderson and Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood in the summer transfer window in order to provide the Bianconeri with a new-look attacking set-up.

According to reports on Wednesday, Giuntoli’s plan is to bring in ‘two or three’ wingers in the summer transfer session so that Juventus have the option to switch from Max Allegri’s preferred 3-5-2 to a 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 formation if required.

Juventus are working on a new deal for Federico Chiesa, and are also prioritising a move for Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, according to reports from Calciomercato.com, but the Old Lady are also interested in both Felipe Anderson and Greenwood.

Juventus talks with Felipe Anderson

Though there had been some rumours circulating online recently, Milan are not thought to be particularly interested in Felipe Anderson, which could effectively clear the path for Juventus.

The Brazilian is approaching the end of his contract with Lazio, so will be available on a free transfer this summer. There are some clubs in Saudi Arabia sniffing around, but Calciomercato believe that staying in Italy is Felipe Anderson’s priority.

Representatives of both Juventus and Felipe Anderson are in ‘constant’ contact and it is believed that an agreement on personal terms is not too far away.

Juventus interest in Greenwood

There could also be a potential bargain to be had with Manchester United for controversial young attacker Greenwood.

The 22-year-old has spent the 2023-24 season on loan in LaLiga with Getafe after being exiled from the first team picture at Manchester United due to a criminal investigation off the pitch.

While on loan with Getafe, Greenwood has registered an encouraging eight goals and five assists from his 28 appearances in LaLiga and the Copa del Rey.

He will return to Manchester United this summer, however the Premier League side reportedly have no interest in keeping their academy product on longer term.

Enticingly for Juventus, Greenwood will be entering the final year of his current deal with United this summer, and could therefore be available for a cut-down fee.

Juventus could also use United’s interest in Bianconeri defender Bremer as leverage. And, if the Brazilian were to move to Old Trafford this summer, they could potentially include Greenwood as part of the deal.
