Roma coach José Mourinho revealed he snubbed the Milan job three years ago, but neither he nor the Rossoneri fans seem to have any regret about his decision.

“I was offered the job three years ago. I thought about it for three days, but I am so happy to have taken that decision,” the Portuguese coach said at a post-match press conference yesterday.

Milan fans booed the Special One during the entire match, so Mourinho doesn’t have any regret about his decision.

Safe to say Rossoneri fans feel the same as Mourinho is not only a former Inter coach but also one of the most successful in the history of the Benamata.

The Special One won five trophies over two seasons with the Nerazzurri, including a legendary treble in 2009-10.

Mourinho’s claims after Milan-Roma caused all sorts of reactions from Rossoneri fans who would not have liked to see the Portuguese coach sit on their bench.

  1. This guy used to have the most interesting press conferences, a master of mind games. Now he’s an old bitter man and his awkward interviews are a reflection of his teams performances on the pitch.

  2. AS a milan fan your comment is expected. Truly we’re all entitled to our opinion so I won’t come gun blazing at you. He’s decision is his….
Milan is better not because of your coach but the quality of players at your disposal, glad you won cause a win form Roma would create false hope.
Let’s see a rebuilt Roma and then test if you’ve missed a quality coach or not.

  3. For fans a club like Milan who have not won a trophy in a decade and in that time only qualified for the CL once? To be making such statements just goes to emphasis how delusional football fans can be. The guy has one 1 EL and 2 X CL. He was also extremely brave to take Roma on because they do not have the players of 10 years ago. I am also glad to see neither Roma management or fans trying to scapegoat him for the initial poor results.

‘ I am also glad to see neither Roma management or fans trying to scapegoat him for the initial poor results.’

If you’re not a Lazio fan in disguise, then this is insanity of unenviable proportions.

    😂😂😂😂😂
