Multiple reports in Italy claim Nikola Vlašić is pushing to join Torino from West Ham, although the two clubs have yet to reach an agreement.

The Croatia international has been struggling with playing time since his €30m move to London a year ago.

Torino boss Ivan Juric sees him as an ideal candidate to add unpredictability to the Granata’s final third and is willing to work with his compatriot at the Stadio Grande Torino.

Tuttosport newspaper and Calciomercato.com report Vlasic is pushing to join the Granata where he’d get regular playing time.

However, Torino can only get the player on loan with an option to buy, while West Ham want to add an obligation to buy in the deal. The Hammers would need at least €24m to avoid a capital loss.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Granata have already made an opening bid for the 24-year-old.

Torino director Davide Vagnati is in contact with the player’s agents and will soon meet Vlasic’s entourage and West Ham directors trying to finalise the deal.
