Milan are reportedly close to a deal for Palermo’s Franco Vazquez, though he won’t move until the summer.

The Argentine-born Italian international has been one of the Rosanero’s star men for the past two seasons, providing 10 goals and 10 assists last term, as well as four assists and a goal this campaign.

Tuttosport reports that the Rossoneri are very close to bringing the 26-year-old to San Siro, but would leave Vazquez in Sicily until June.

Tuttosport reports that the Rossoneri are very close to bringing the 26-year-old to San Siro, but would leave Vazquez in Sicily until June.

The newspaper believes that the negotiation is being carried out in person by Silvio Berlusconi, who doesn’t want to risk losing the player, as happened when Paulo Dybala joined Juventus.

The Diavolo will therefore agree a deal before the January transfer window opens, but the move will not go through until the summer.

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has already made it clear that he would not sell his star man mid-season.
