Stefano Pioli has received some excellent news at Milanello today as Theo Hernandez has returned to squad training ahead of the next game against Juventus.

The 24-year-old Frenchman was called up by Didier Deschamps for the recent international break but almost immediately withdrew due to an adductor strain, forcing him to the sidelines for the last few weeks. Hernandez missed the 3-1 win over Empoli and the 3-0 loss to Chelsea, but he’ll soon be able to take to the pitch again.

As reported by Sky Sports Italia, Hernandez took part in today’s squad training session in Milanello and is now expected to take part in Milan’s key game against Juventus on the weekend.

The 24-year-old’s absence was felt during the loss to Chelsea and his return gives Pioli and the Rossoneri squad a boost for the Bianconeri clash.

Hernandez has scored one goal and provided two assists in nine appearances across all competitions so far this season.
