Juventus have won just one game from the last seven, conceding 11 goals and going 17 points below leaders Inter in less than two months.

Juventus’ 2-2 draw against Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday allowed Milan to overtake Massimiliano Allegri’s men in second place in the Serie A table.

The Bianconeri must thank Daniele Rugani for a late goal against Frosinone two weeks ago, which allowed them to win the only match from the last seven.

Juventus drew against Empoli, Verona, and Atalanta and lost to Inter, Napoli, and Udinese, conceding 11 goals in the last seven outings.

As highlighted by journalist Giuseppe Pastore on X, formerly Twitter, they also conceded two goals in four consecutive matches for the first time under Allegri.

Juventus literally collapsed, considering that less than two months ago, Italian media saw them as credible title contenders. The Old Lady was only two points below Inter, who had a game in hand, before a home draw against Empoli on Januar 27 which practically opened their crisis.

They are now 17 points below the Nerazzurri and ten above 5th-placed Roma.

On the other hand, Juventus coach Allegri has never thought the Bianconeri were title contenders and insisted the main target was to qualify for the Champions League.
