Sportitalia – who are very close to Sarri – Sky Sport Italia, La Gazzetta dello Sport and more all have the same version of events, claiming Chelsea accepted the tactician’s request to leave after just one year at Stamford Bridge.

The decision was made during meetings on Friday with Roman Abramovich’s right-hand woman Marina Granovskaia, involving Sarri himself and agent Fali Ramadani.

There would be no compensation, other than La Stampa pointing to a ‘hidden’ gift from Juve, such as a discount on Gonzalo Higuain’s loan and salary.

Having won the Europa League trophy, the former Napoli Coach asked to be released and will return to Italy this weekend, possibly even as early as today.

While most maintain he has a deal with Juventus, there are still some sources like Tuttomercatoweb or Momblano who continue to insist the Bianconeri are working on other avenues too.

The dream scenario would be Guardiola and some including Rai Sport and Il Sole 24 Ore are even claiming Adidas could pay for his salary to get him away from Manchester City.

Sport Mediaset confirm some of their reliable sources are also stating Guardiola could go to Juve as early as Monday.

Negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur boss Pochettino would have to wait until after tonight’s Champions League Final against Liverpool in Madrid.

Sarri would have other options in Serie A, most notably Roma and Milan, but neither of them are in the Champions League.
