Roma transfer target Georginio Wijnaldum is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to reports.

The Netherlands international joined on a free transfer last summer after his contract at Liverpool expired but appears set to leave after just 12 months.

Fabrizio Romano reports Wijnaldum and PSG have decided to part ways the player is looking for a new club.

Despite Roma’s reported interest, the report adds that no official bid from the Giallorossi has been made.

Wijnaldum started his career with Feyenoord before moving to PSV Eindhoven and then to Premier League side Newcastle United.

Following relegation, he joined Liverpool in 2016 and won the Premier League and Champions League as well was UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

In 2021, he moved to PSG, where he made 31 Ligue 1 appearances and scored one goal en route to sealing the title.

Wijnaldum has 86 Netherlands caps and scored 26 goals since making his debut in 2011.
