After Juventus came out on top against Inter in the battle for Bremer, the two sides could be set to fight it out again for another defensive target, according to reports in Italy.

Despite Inter’s summer-long pursuit of former Torino defender Bremer, he joined Juve earlier this week after the Bianconeri saw Matthijs de Ligt move to Bayern Munich.

Missing out on their top defensive target appears to have made Inter rethink their stance on whether to allow Milan Škriniar to join Paris Saint-Germain, who have made several bids for the Slovakia international.

Tuttosport among others report Juve are looking at potentially adding another central defender and would be interested in Fiorentina‘s Nikola Milenković and that could lead to another battle with Inter.

The Serbia international has reportedly been on Inter’s list of defensive targets.

Milenković’s contract expires at the end of next season which means from January, he could begin talks with other clubs about potentially moving on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.
