Roma and Juventus have suspended the ticket sales for the next three home games following restrictions on attendance for football matches.

Stadiums in Serie A will return to 50% capacity from January, with the Italian Government taking action after almost 100,000 new positive tests were posted on Wednesday in the country.

“The club would like to inform fans that, while awaiting further details on the expected decision to reduce stadium limitations in Italy to just 50% of capacity, the sale of tickets for the games against Juventus, Cagliari and Lecce have been suspended,” Roma statement read.

“Further information and updates on the entry procedures for upcoming games at the Stadio Olimpico will be published in the coming days.”

Roma return to the pitch on January 6 at San Siro against Milan. Three home games will follow: against Juventus and Cagliari in Serie A and Lecce in Coppa Italia.

UPDATE

Juventus have also suspended the ticket sales for the next three games at home against Napoli, Udinese (Serie A) and Sampdoria (Coppa Italia).

“Juventus informs that, pending further clarification and confirmation regarding the capacity of the stadiums reduced to 50%, the sale of tickets for the matches against Napoli, Udinese and Sampdoria is suspended,” the Bianconeri’s statement read.

“In the coming days, further information will be issued on how to access upcoming matches for those who already have a ticket.”

  1. Please make sure to NOT mention that Roma have been selling out home games and having full capacity of available tickets at the Olmpico.
