Ibra has been linked with a return to Serie A with Roma, but the player’s representative insists he’ll see out his Paris Saint-Germain contract, and says the Giallorossi couldn’t afford him anyway.

“Could Ibra return to Italy? It depends on what he wants,” Mino Raiola told Radio Anch’io Sport.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent says Roma can’t afford his client, and discusses Mario Balotelli’s Liverpool struggles.

“He has a contract for another year and a half with Paris Saint-Germain. He’s unsellable for the Parisians, and for the length of his contract he won’t leave Paris.

“With all due respect, I don’t think Roma can afford him.”

Raiola also represents Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli, and defended his client after a poor start to life on Merseyside, as well echoing words from Giuseppe Marotta that the player won’t join Juventus.

“Was it a mistake for Mario to leave Milan? Decisions have to be judged at the time they’re taken, in the summer it was right to leave Milan, and we’d do it again.

“Mario went to the best League in the world, and is not doing well at Liverpool for a number of reasons.

“But Balotelli is quiet and is working his way back to the top, I don’t regret the transfer or Mario leaving Milan.

“We no longer have to speak about his private life, and that’s a big improvement. Balotelli was out for almost 10 weeks with injury, you can’t judge him until he’s at 100 per cent.

“It’s not easy to go abroad and immediately fit into a different environment, but I’m not worried about Balotelli the way the Italian Press are.

Juventus? They’ve denied it, and I don’t speak about the transfer market when it’s open.

“Juve denied it, so that’s the situation.”

The agent also looks after the interests of Juventus’ Paul Pogba, and believes it would cost a lot of money to prise the Frenchman from Turin.

“He’s one of the most expensive players on the market,” Raiola considered.

“For his age and how much he can improve he’s among the best in the world. But the price always depends on the possible buyer…”
