Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo could, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, be willing to swap places with Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic after all.

The Brazilian has been linked with an exchange deal including the Bosnia international but has repeatedly claimed he wants to stay at Camp Nou.

But the reports in Italian and Spanish media won’t go away and now the Milan based newspaper claims the 23-year-old has opened for a move to the Allianz Stadium.

One small step forward for the proposed negotiations, as the two clubs will need to agree on a swap deal to look after their budgets after the financial crisis caused by the current pandemic.

The Blaugrana star has appeared 16 times in La Liga this season, contributing three goals and three assists in the process.

Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri seems ready to sacrifice Pjanic but Juventus will reportedly not let the former Roma playmaker move to Barcelona unless Arthur comes in the other direction.
