While Palermo’s Vice-President said Javier Pastore would “very probably” join Chelsea, Maurizio Zamparini names PSG and Real Madrid too.

The club is set to evaluate all offers for the €50m-rated Argentine on Tuesday and Vice-President Guglielmo Miccichè said Pastore would “very probably” make the move to Chelsea.

“There are three or four important proposals,” insisted President Zamparini this afternoon.

“We’ll exchange opinions, then go to France and England for negotiations. The interested clubs are Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and also something in Spain, but that depends on who Real Madrid manage to sell.”

In Serie A, El Flaco had been linked with Roma, Milan, Juventus and Inter this summer.

“The newspapers make it look as if everyone is in the running, but I hope he won’t stay in Serie A. That way he won’t have to face us as an opponent,” added Zamparini.

“The club that comes to us with a serious offer will take him.”

Meanwhile, Palermo already have a replacement, as the Corriere dello Sport claims they will sign Pastore’s younger brother, Juan Manuel.

“He is 2cm shorter than me, but is more robust and naturally plays as a trequartista,” said Javier of his sibling.

The 18-year-old currently plays for Talleres Cordoba.
