Stats prove how Juventus‘ offensive production is one of the Bianconeri’s main issues this season, as only Cremonese, Lecce, Verona, Monza and Spezia have fewer shots on target than the Old Lady.

The Bianconeri have scored nine goals in seven Serie A games and are the only team, along with José Mourinho’s Roma, to have netted less than ten times in the top eight.

La Gazzetta dello Sport highlights Juventus’ struggles with offensive production this season. They have managed 25 shots on target so far; only Cremonese, Lecce, Verona, Monza and Spezia have produced less than Allegri’s boys.

Juventus are 17th in Serie A for ‘shots accuracy’ (27,8), ahead of Verona, Monza and Spezia.

Stats are even more worrying when considering the so-called ‘Field Tilt’, the ball possession in the attacking third, where Juventus are penultimate with 41.37%. Fiorentina top this ranking with 65.92%, followed by Napoli (60.49) and Milan (56.12).

Last but not least, Juventus’ star striker Dusan Vlahovic has scored four goals in six Serie A games, but only one from open play.

  2. CALMAAA!!! @Flynchy.

PhD Max is producing plenty of production. His target is to produce no goal production. That is in theory production as his philosophy is to produce the greatest coma calcio the world has ever seen. On a 4 year deal and getting £7M a term. Getting paid to do what you love. That is genius.
