Andre Villas Boas won't be joining Inter after Chelsea moved in on the current Porto boss.

The tactician was being associated with the San Siro bench, even if Inter have stated over the last 48 hours that they were unwilling to pay his rescission clause.

Chelsea don't have the same concerns and they seem ready to pay £13.2m to the Portuguese champions.

Although the club have stated that nobody has made them an offer for the Coach, a deal is apparently close.

Although the club have stated that nobody has made them an offer for the Coach, a deal is apparently close.

"Villas Boas has a contract and a clause of €15m," Porto President Pinto Da Costa confirmed.

"If someone deposits €15m into our account and he wants to go, we can not do anything because it is something that is contractually specified."

The Coach, only 33, led Porto to the domestic double and the Europa League during the past campaign.

It's understood that Juventus and Roma were also interested in the tactician.

Chelsea are looking for a new boss after they sacked former Milan and Juventus man Carlo Ancelotti this summer.
