Henrikh Mkhitaryan will try to score his third goal in as many games against Fiorentina when Inter host La Viola at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday evening.

The Armenian international looks set to start for the Nerazzurri in the absence of Hakan Calhanoglu, who picked up a thigh injury in Turkey’s 2-0 loss against Croatia on Tuesday evening.

Mkhitaryan has had a run of good fortune when it comes to games against Fiorentina, having scored a dramatic 95th minute winner during the 4-3 win at the Stadio Artemio Franchi when the two sides last met back in October.

In Mkhitaryan’s last game against the Tuscans before that, he was playing for Roma, and again found the net at the Stadio Olimpico during Jose Mourinho’s first league game in charge of the Giallorossi.

Mkhitaryan could be set to gain more minutes for Inter in the coming weeks after Calhanoglu’s injury is set to keep him out of action for a number of weeks.
