Alex Sandro’s Juventus medical is underway, while reports say the club will target Juan Cuadrado or Henrikh Mkhitaryan if their final Julian Draxler bid is rejected.

It was announced yesterday that Porto left-back Alex Sandro had arrived in Turin ahead of a reported €20m move to the Italian champions.

The club announced on Twitter earlier today that the Brazilian had arrived at the Old Lady’s Clinica Fornaca to undergo his first tests, before he will later move to the Istituto di Medicino dello Sport.

However, the Bianconeri’s spending spree looks set to continue, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting today that targets have been set if their final offer worth €27m plus bonuses for Schalke 04’s Julian Draxler is turned down.

The paper writes that Juve will turn away from Draxler if the bid is rejected, and focus their attentions on either Borussia Dortmund’s Mkhitaryan or Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado.

The report suggests that the imminent arrival of Pedro at Stamford Bridge from Barcelona could free up the Colombian’s return to Serie A after only six months in London.
