Roma Coach Rudi Garcia is confident ahead of the new season: ‘We'll beat our record of 10 wins in a row.’

The Frenchman, who took his side to a second-place Serie A finish last season, targeted breaking last season’s win record and says there are ‘no problems’ with facing Juventus in Week 2.

“We will beat our record of 10 consecutive victories because records are made to be broken,” Garcia told Corriere dello Sport.

“We play with ambition. It will be a very long season, but it’ll be more competitive than last year.

“Is the Juventus match too soon? I don’t know and we can’t do anything about it, but for us there are no problems.

“There are other interesting teams – the Milanese clubs are returning.

“People haven’t spoken much about Napoli but they are a good team with a strong attack and they’ve added some good players in the summer such as Allan, Valdifiori and Chiriches.

“But Fiorentina are the queen of the summer.”
