Arkadiusz Milik says Napoli have no fear of Juventus or Cristiano Ronaldo and describes Carlo Ancelotti as a ‘winner.’

Under Maurizio Sarri last season, the Partenopei pushed the Old Lady close but were ultimately unable to stop Max Allegri’s team from winning their seventh straight Scudetto.

The champions have since added Ronaldo to their squad as they look to extend their domestic dominance into European competition.

However, the Polish international wants his side to focus on themselves as the new campaign kicks off.

“Are Juve still the team to beat? I don’t fear anyone,” Milik told reporters.

“I have respect for a lot of teams like Juve, Inter and Roma who are strong – but there is also Milan and Lazio.

“However, we shouldn’t fear anyone because we are Napoli and we want to win.”

Forward Milik added that although he respects Ronaldo, he will not deliver success to Juve by himself.

“Along with Messi, he is one of the best players in the world and getting anyone better than him really is difficult.

“Juve are very strong, but just one player isn’t enough to win.”

Milik is delighted to be working with new Napoli boss Ancelotti, who replaced Sarri this summer.

“Ancelotti? He has the DNA of a winner and I hope he can continue that with Napoli as well.

“He is a great person and you can talk to him like a friend. That’s how I like a Coach to be.”
