Roberto Mancini has warned of Dnipro’s ability away from home, but asserts his Inter will look to close out Europa League qualification tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri can book passage to the Round of 32 with a draw and can guarantee first place with a win at San Siro on Thursday night over opponents Dnipro.

Ahead of that match, Inter’s Coach was asked first for what he will look to carry on from the weekend derby draw with Milan.

“In the derby we did some good things, some mistakes, but it is part of the situation,” began Mancini to reporters today.

“Over the 90 minutes I was happy with what the team did. Tomorrow it will be important to pay attention, this is a difficult team, better away from home, but we have to ensure qualification.

“And Roma at the weekend? Probably I will make some changes, but we must address things one game at a time. From Thursday evening we will look to Roma.”

Mancini was asked whether it would be easier for Inter to achieve Champions League qualification through third place in Serie A, or through winning the Europa League.

“There are two paths, we must aim down either of the two. We have the possibility, this is a good opportunity.

“We must try to win so as to ensure first place. Dnipro away from home are a better side, they play an aggressive football with technical and physical players, they are dangerous on set-pieces and on the break.

“It will not be easy, we will have to play well so as to defeat them.”
