“But even if we don’t get a result we could qualify for the next round if Copenhagen slip-up.

“What would be most beneficial is to create an atmosphere which breeds confidence in the players and brings back a sense of unity.

“We really need our fans, they can give the players the lift they need to embark on a journey to the next round.

“Tomorrow we’re facing a good team, which has been very successful up to this point.

“We have to take things one step at a time. Tomorrow will be an important step, not necessarily for the result, but for the type of game we play.

“While it’s true that Copenhagen dropping points would be enough for us, that’s not the point.

“We have to try to win tomorrow.”

Ventura has named the squad which will take on the Belgian side, with Fabio Quagliarella expected to lead the line.

Torino squad to face Club Brugge: Gillet, Padelli, Bovo, Darmian, Glik ,Jansson, Maksimovic, Molinaro, Moretti, Benassi, El Kaddouri, Gazzi, Sanchez Mino, Vives, Amauri, Larrondo, Martinez, Quagliarella.
