Despite reports linking Boubacar Kamara with a move to Manchester United, the player is reportedly willing to stay at Olympique de Marseille until the end of the season, picking his new club in the summer.

The 22-year-old sees his current deal with Olympique Marseille expire at the end of the campaign and according to multiple reports in Italy, he has requested a new €5m-a-year salary.

Roma and Milan are interested in signing him but are unwilling to offer as much.

There were reports that Manchester United are close to signing the 22-year-old, having already begun talks with the player’s entourage.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given his own version of the story saying that the Premier League giants have not begun talks to sign Kamara.

Also, the versatile midfielder is determined to stay in South France until the end of the season, picking his next club over the summer.

Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also mentioned among the clubs interested in the 22-year-old.

“If I stay, I will do anything to reach the club’s target, which is the Champions League,” Kamara said last week.

“The transfer window is open so anything can happen. There are many rumours, but irrespective of that, I am happy to have my family and my teammates close to me. I must remain focused on the pitch without thinking about the rest and give my best to help my team.”

Every kid thinks he is worth millions now…United can have him, one year and he could be yet another bored, lazy player
