Former Inter right-back Maicon says he prefers Lautaro Martinez over Paulo Dybala, and that he’s “convinced” Antonio Conte can deliver the Scudetto for Inter.
The Brazilian was interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport ahead of the Derby d’Italia, and states that he believes Conte can bring a first league title back to the blue and black half of San Siro for the first time in a decade.
“Inter needs success, and I’m convinced that Conte’s side can really win the Scudetto,” Maicon told the Milan daily.

The former Inter and Roma player than analysed Juve’s current form.
“Juventus didn’t do well in Lyon, but in the Champions League the approach is different and, amongst other things, I don’t think they will be eliminated by Lyon.
“In Italy Lazio are having a great season, but I still believe the Bianconeri are the strongest team.
“When they play in Turin, it’s difficult to leave there with all three points.”
The Derby d’Italia is a game shrouded in refereeing controversy, but Maicon never had any doubts.
“I never thought that the referees were wrong on purpose. I never justified a defeat through the mistakes of a referee in my life. I never found it right to do so.”
Maicon was then asked whom he would prefer between Juve’s Paulo Dybala and Inter’s Lautaro Martinez.
“Dybala is a big player, but I say Martinez: when he gives performances like he has, it’s normal to have the greatest clubs in Europe looking at you.”
