Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will not take part in tonight’s Coppa Italia clash against Cremonese.

The 21-year-old Georgian winger has been one of the revelations of the season, immediately shining with the Partenopei following his €10m move from Dinamo Batumi in the summer. Kvaratskhelia has scored nine goals and provided 12 assists across 20 appearances this campaign, being a key part of the success of Luciano Spalletti’s side.

As announced by Napoli, Kvaratskhelia did not train today due to the flu, meaning he will not take part in tonight’s game against Cremonese. Diego Demme will also miss the Coppa Italia clash due to the birth of his daughter and Hirving Lozano is ruled out through suspension.

Should the Campania side beat Cremonese this evening, they’d face Roma in the quarter-finals. The winner of that game will play the winner of FiorentinaTorino in the semi-finals, setting up a nice run to the final.
