Inter have reportedly opened talks with Manchester United to explore a possible deal for defender Harry Maguire.

The Nerazzurri are preparing to lose first team regular Milan Skriniar in the near future, with the player publicly confirming his decision not to sign a contract renewal with the club.

It remains to be seen if Paris Saint-Germain will pay for Skriniar’s services in the final hours of this month’s transfer window or wait to pick him up on a free transfer in the summer.

As reported by The Daily Mail, Inter have approached Manchester United to explore a deal for Maguire, interested in picking up the Englishman on loan.

The 29-year-old centre back is open to a move abroad but will only consider his options at the end of the season, inline with Manchester United’s position.

Maguire, who is contracted to the Red Devils until 2025, has struggled for consistent minutes under new coach Erik ten Hag this season, only starting four Premier League matches.
