Torino have officially announced the arrival of talented midfielder Ivan Ilic from Hellas Verona.

The 21-year-old Serbian midfielder has been quietly impressed with the Gialloblu since his initial arrival from Manchester City in September 2020.

He looked destined for a move last summer but remained in Veneto, attracting serious attention from both Torino and Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille.

As announced by Torino, Ilic has joined the club on a six-month loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause attached, linked to certain sporting objectives.

During his two and a half years with Hellas Verona, Ilic scored five goals and provided six assists across 76 appearances for the club, proving his tactical flexibility, vision and skill on the ball.

The midfielder is already a full-fledged international with Serbia, having made seven caps, including one at the World Cup in Qatar.

Torino currently sit 8th in the Serie A table, having picked up 27 points from seven wins and six draws.
