UEFA have presented their club rankings after the latest round of European games, an update that has seen Juventus stay in eighth and Inter fly up the table.

It was an interesting week in Europe for Italian teams; Juventus secured an important win over Israeli side Maccabi Haifa, Inter picked up a controversial victory over Barcelona, Napoli thrashed Ajax and Milan suffered a painful loss to Chelsea. In the Europa League Lazio drew to Sturm Graz and Roma lost to Real Betis, whilst Fiorentina secured a confident away win over Hearts.

In the latest UEFA club rankings, Juventus have held onto their eighth place, being the highest ranked Italian team. Inter have flown up nine places, rising to 14th overall, two spots behind Roma. Napoli sit 21st, seven places ahead of Atalanta. Lazio are 38th, Milan are 45th and Fiorentina are far down the table in 104th. 

The top teams in the rankings are Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Chelsea.

  1. @Demir Liverpool reached the final last season and won in 2019 I believe regardless of how terrible they are lately. Winning a couple of matches in the group stage is nothing compared to going all the way.
