Eriksen will be a free agent in June, so having already agreed personal terms, Spurs risk losing him for nothing in only a few months.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Inter have only raised their offer to €12m plus bonuses, but La Gazzetta dello Sport suggest the deal will be done for €18m.

The Nerazzurri are hard at work during the January transfer window, as Ashley Young is expected in Milan on Friday for his medical after storming out of the Manchester United training session in frustration at delays over the deal, according to The Sun.

Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud will arrive from Chelsea once Matteo Politano has completed his exchange with Roma full-back Leonardo Spinazzola.

That move was meant to have gone through already, but was delayed by extra fitness tests for Spinazzola and haggling over the terms.
