Ashley Young is expected in Milan today for his Inter medical, after reports he stormed out of Manchester United training to force through the move.

According to The Sun, the wing-back was increasingly frustrated at delays over his transfer to San Siro and walked out of the training session in order to work by himself ahead of last weekend’s game with Norwich City.

He was officially only ruled out of that game because of fitness, but the English newspaper claims Young has simply decided his time at Manchester United is over.

He was officially only ruled out of that game because of fitness, but the English newspaper claims Young has simply decided his time at Manchester United is over.

Sky Sport Italia claim the 34-year-old will be in Milan today for a medical at 11am local time, with Manchester United accepting the €1.5m plus bonuses transfer fee.

England international Young had already agreed personal terms with Inter last week.

His arrival, along with Leonardo Spinazzola from Roma in exchange for Matteo Politano, means that Valentino Lazaro is likely to be loaned out for the rest of the season.

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla', Lazaro's next destination is Newcastle United.
