La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Brescia President Gino Corioni is seriously considering Iachini's future even though he promised not to wave the axe all season only last month.

Proven relegation battlers Mario Berretta and Beppe Papadopulo are the favourites to replace Iachini at the Rigamonti should Brescia decide enough is enough.

Corioni is reluctant to take the decision because he appreciates the work Iachini did in getting Brescia promoted to Serie A.

He has also never been so patient with a Coach, having gone through no fewer than 13 different tacticians since 1994.

However, eight defeats in Brescia's last 11 games is testing his patience, even if the Rondinelle have nicked points off Juventus, Inter and Roma this season.
