Ibrahimovic has already made an instant impact upon his return to Milan, scoring last weekend in the 2-0 win over Cagliari.

“I don’t know him personally, I never had the opportunity to work with him, but from the outside he appears to be a leader,” said Gotti in his press conference.

“Certainly he brings a specific presence to a team, the dynamics are different.”

Milan have trouble winning at San Siro, with their last victory in the league coming against SPAL almost three months ago, and Gotti thinks there is too much pressure.

“I saw the game against Cagliari, and they put together a nice performance against SPAL in the Coppa Italia. Maybe they have a certain feeling at San Siro.

“Milan have great players, I’ve seen a lot of them, their ranking in the table isn’t correct.

“There is tension at home because the Milan shirt is heavy, and in that stadium it becomes complicated to play.”

Udinese were swept aside by Juventus in the Round of 16 in the Coppa Italia, but Gotti wasn’t too hard on his players.

“I expected answers from that game but I don’t blame anyone, as we played against one of the strongest teams in the world.

“Udinese aren’t the only team to lose against Juve in Turin.”
