Milan rejected a proposal from Galatasaray over the summer for Fode Ballo-Toure, but the Turkish side could try again in January.

The 25-year-old Senegal international left-back was signed as an understudy to Theo Hernandez, but has not progressed the way that the club was hoping.

He made just one 15-minute substitute appearance for the Rossoneri this season and is low on the pecking order in the eyes of coach Stefano Pioli.

According to Pianeta Milan, Galatasaray have not forgotten about Ballo-Toure and are preparing another bid in the January transfer window.

The main reason that attempt collapsed in the summer was because Galatasaray could not find a new club for Patrick van Aanholt.

There is the possibility things will change, because Theo Hernandez picked up a muscular injury on international duty for France and is expected to be out of action for 10 days.

That will give Ballo-Toure the opportunity to play in the upcoming clashes with Empoli, Chelsea and potentially also Juventus.

Another option is moving Sergino Dest over to the left flank, a role the United States international can play, which would just confirm how much Ballo-Toure is not part of their plans.
