Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi refuses to discuss the Scudetto race, saying they’ll take it one game at a time.

The Giallorossi are in second place, but are seven points adrift of Juventus after a disastrous run of results in January. With pundits now ready to declare the title race over, Florenzi would not be drawn.

“Second place or Scudetto?” the Italian international considered.

“Second place or Scudetto?” the Italian international considered.

“We’ll just take it a game at a time, without making calculations to go back to the Roma we have been.

“Let’s be realistic, we’ll try to fight an all fronts [Serie A and the  Europa League] as long as we can.

“Our bad form? There have been many contributory factors, which have gradually built up. Injuries and fitness weren’t at their peak, we didn’t play our best and we didn’t give 100 per cent.”
