The Azzurri are now listed as the eighth best team in Europe, with Switzerland overtaking Antonio Conte’s men in the world rankings to move up to 11th.

The Nazionale are now ranked between the Swiss and Costa Rica, with 12th being Italy’s lowest ranking since 2010, when a disastrous World Cup saw them slump to 14th.
