Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has been assessed by the medical staff at Continassa, after pulling out of the Argentina squad. ‘I’m doing well’.

The Argentina international was replaced at half-time in the 1-0 win over Uruguay in the World Cup Qualifiers and returned to Turin to evaluate the extent of the problem suffered on international duty.

Dybala went to J|Medical to undergo the instrumental tests after missing the match against Brazil in South America.

He remains in doubt for the match against Lazio at the Olimpico on Saturday and will reportedly be monitored closely by the medical staff at Continassa.

After the test, the 28-year-old Argentine was optimistic when approached by the fans outside the centre.

“I’m doing well, thanks,” Dybala replied when asked about his conditions.

Dybala turned 28 on November 15 and seems set to renew with the Bianconeri, as his agent should sit down to complete the negotiations this month.

He has scored six goals in 11 competitive games this term, including three in a perfect start to the Champions League campaign.

But the Old Lady is struggling in Serie A, sitting eight in the table with 18 points from 12 games.

This Saturday, former coach Maurizio Sarri hosts Juventus at the Olimpico, but Lazio have to cope without star striker Ciro Immobile.
