Angel Di Maria and Leonardo Bonucci partially trained with the rest of the team today and could return against Fiorentina on Saturday. Check out the latest updates on Juventus‘ injured players.

The Bianconeri are preparing for Wednesday’s home Serie A clash against Spezia at the Allianz Stadium but still have several players on the treatment table.

Leonardo Bonucci is dealing with a flexor problem and according to Sky Sport Italia, he is still not fully fit, so he could remain out against Luca Gotti’s side and play against Fiorentina this coming Saturday. The Italy international partially trained with the team this morning.

Adrien Rabiot suffered from a cramp against Roma on Saturday and is expected to remain on the bench against the Aquilotti. Angel Di Maria trained partially with the team today. Max Allegri’s target is to have him back against PSG, but the Argentinean could already join the team in Florence for the next away game.

Paul Pogba and Federico Chiesa will take longer, but the Frenchman will return running on the pitch in the coming days. The Frenchman was ruled out for five weeks at the start of August due to a meniscus problem.

Juventus released an official statement following today’s training session at Continassa:

“The second-consecutive match at Allianz Stadium is on the horizon for Juventus, who will host Spezia on Wednesday 31 August at 20:45 CEST for Matchday four of the Serie A calendar,” the Bianconeri said.

“The team convened at the JTC this morning, beginning with team tactical exercises for the defensive phase first and then focusing on build-up play, concluding with crossing finishing.

“Leonardo Bonucci, Nicolò Fagioli and Angel Di Maria all trained partially with the team.

“Tomorrow, on the eve of the match, training is set for the morning, followed by Massimilano Allegri’s pre-match press conference at 14:00 CEST.”
